The New Orleans Crescent Civic Engagement Fund (Crescent Fund) is a group of next-generation leaders working together to use their resources and skills to support initiatives effecting positive change in the Greater New Orleans community.

In our pilot year, we have created two sub-groups to give out grants to organizations in New Orleans. The Education group of the Crescent Fund sought to support the recovering schools in the Greater New Orleans area by providing a grant. The Economic Development group created a grant application to support the initiatives of individuals or organizations with innovative ideas on ways to make New Orleans a more attractive place for people, businesses, and families to live, work, and play.
